Floating price plan

• Wholesale Cost plus 1¢/kWh
• The wholesale cost is calculated each month based on the weighted average of the energy prices as published by the Alberta Electric System Operator.

Terms and conditions 

• Retail services are available to all residential and small business located in the following Wires Service providers' territories: Enmax Power, Epcor, Lethbridge, Red Deer, Atco Electric, and FortisAlberta 
• Administration fee charged is a flat rate of $5.50 per month per customer site
• Customers who consume over 3667kWh per month will be charged an additional $0.0015/kWh
• Customers must have e-mail and agree to accept electronic monthly invoices 
• Payment is accepted through direct debit only
• Both Fixed Term and Floating Price Plan Contract(s) can be cancelled with only 15 days notice

Please note the rates above do not include transmission, distribution, administration, local access fees, GST or other charges. As a result, the cost of the "delivered" energy would be higher. Typically, these costs make up an additional 40 to 50 per cent of the energy charges for the average residential single family dwelling.
