The RoLR is now in effect in Alberta, replacing the Regulated Rate Option for electricity customers. The Power Hour: Staying Connected After Winter Rules Ends
In Alberta, electricity cannot be disconnected between October 15 – April 15, and natural gas cannot be disconnected between November 1 – April 15 (depending on weather conditions) based on Winter Rules. Join the Utilities Consumer Advocate (UCA) for a free presentation, open to the public, where we’ll explain the Winter Utilities Reconnection Program (WURP) and tips to remaining connected after Winter Rules ends.

The UCA offers free presents to different community organizations, non profits, and groups professionals looking to learn more about utilities for themselves or their clients. These presentations can be offered in collaboration with community organizations and open to the public or they can be private.
