Municipal Government Programs
With financial support from the Government of Alberta, municipalities participating in the Clean Energy Improvement Program (CEIP) offer competitive long-term energy efficiency upgrades to residential and commercial property owners. Eligible CEIP Projects Focus On: The CEIP program costs are recovered through the participating owner’s property taxes, allowing you to complete upgrades without having to put down the money up front. Repayment is flexible (with terms up to 20 years) and transferrable, with the project’s financing tied to the property. If you sell the property before the term is completed, the new owner can assume repayment built into their property taxes.
