Energy plans available for electricity and natural gas:
Fixed Rate:
A stable rate where the electricity and/or natural gas rate will not fluctuate or change for the length of the contract.
Variable Rate:
A fluctuating rate that may change month-to-month based upon market conditions.
Rate of Last Resort:
The Rate of Last Resort (RoLR) is the default rate for electricity. Consumers who don't sign a contract for electricity are served by a default retailer.
Default Gas Rate:
The default gas rate is the Default Rate Tariff (DRT) for natural gas. Consumers who don't sign a contract for natural gas are served by a default retailer.
Micro-generation/Solar Rate:
A rate applicable for solar photovoltaic (PV) micro-generation sites and for consumers in the process of setting up solar power.
