The Power Hour: Winter Utilities Reconnection Program (WURP)
In Alberta, electricity cannot be disconnected between October 15 – April 15, and natural gas cannot be disconnected between November 1 – April 15 (depending on weather conditions). Join the UCA for a free presentation, open to the public, where we’ll explain the WURP and the rules surrounding utility connection and disconnection.

The UCA offers free presents to different community organizations, non profits, and groups professionals looking to learn more about utilities for themselves or their clients. These presentations can be offered in collaboration with community organizations and open to the public or they can be private.
